This is required if you want to import photos from Google Photos or use the experimental AI tagging features.
- Access the Console: Visit the Google Cloud Console and sign in with your Google account.
- Create a New Project:
- Click the project dropdown at the top of the page.
- Click New Project.
- Give it a name (e.g., “Aura Gallery Site”) and click Create.
- Enable APIs:
- Once inside your new project, navigate to APIs & Services > Library.
- Search for the specific services you need (e.g., “Google Photos Picker API” or “Cloud Vision API”).
- Click on the API and select Enable.
- Configure Consent:
- Go to OAuth consent screen in the sidebar.
- Choose External and fill in your contact information. This tells Google who owns the “application” (your website).
